How did you made the topo map?

I want to see which programs are like JOSM because it's constantly giving trouble 9 months ago

I always have wonder, how to use Merkaator with OGF? JOSM isn't bad at all, the main problem with it is java and consumes a lot of resources of the system.

UL340 Coastline 10 months ago

What is the purpose of this island?

Tárrases, 3D 10 months ago

Luciano's Mapper's Challenge #11 - February, 2017 - Another day, but not another motorway 11 months ago

This challenge sounds great, I would like to be part of it.

What about a very small city with less than 10,000 residents? Can I participate with this?

Antarephia Climate 11 months ago

I look at it and I found it a little bit confusing. The hurricane point surges are more or less correct, but I would suggest more larger paths for some special stronger storms, being like extratropical storms and falling into the north of Belgonia. I see a little bit more confusing the currents neart the equator, many warm ocean currents are born near the equator. Remember that when the warm water gets more cold as it goes more closer to the poles, then it sumerges to the bottom of the ocean and there continues its way. About the air currents: make more visible the jet stream, this will rule many of the air currents along the hemisphere. And don't forget the coriolis force over the air and water.

I suggest you to watch the documentaries BBC Wild Weather, there are four parts of it and its a great resume of the geophysical fluid mechanics of the Earth, which is always our nearest model.

Lost islands 11 months ago

I think it has something to do with Glacies Australis. I've readed before about those islands in another diary entry, but I don't found it.

First Great Southern Island blank map (an easy way to get blank maps from OGF) 12 months ago

I haven't used QGIS, I know what it is (my bro uses it).

I'll try to use the OverpassAPI.

Luciano's Mapper's Challenge #9 - December, 2016 - Oops about 1 year ago

This map challenge sounds interesting, I'm curious about the fixings for Mahhal.. I've been looking at mistakes with Aŭstrasuno Tero, and I found some of them. I think I'm going to change names in some areas and cities, like Norda Haveno and trying to not use the word "Haveno" constantly. For Aŭstraĉerfubo maybe I'm going to rethink the suburban areas and preparing for the middle towns and farming areas between Norda Haveno and Delta Insulo. But I have made many corrections of mistakes. like the cleanising and ordering of the coastal relation of Aŭstrasuno Tero and natural issues with Granda Glaciaro.

Mahhal: is the latitude problem a "dealbreaker"? about 1 year ago

I've been wondering the same, but in Auhstrasuno Tero.

I vote no, the warm Harda Current should be enough to keep a more or less temperate climate at those latitudes.

Rendering in OGF? about 1 year ago

Jeje, you are right. Thanks for the observation.

Calling for Embassies! about 1 year ago

Where is exactly your country? I'm interessed for an embassy of Auhstrasuno Tero in Litvania and one of Litvania in my country.

Year 19XX: Antarephian Alliance (AnA) is founded about 1 year ago

@William: ok, add Aŭstrasuno Tero as a fulltime member.

Can please someone explain what are TAFTA, EFTA, EU... and all those letters?

Year 19XX: Antarephian Alliance (AnA) is founded about 1 year ago

Aŭstrasuno Tero is interessed to join the Antarephian Alliance. Maybe not as a fulltime member, but as an observer.

Geology of OGF about 1 year ago

@dono87 The red lines represent a convergent boundaries or subduction between tectonic plates.

BTW, there sould be a base for the tectonics and geology in the world, it cannot be somekind of free. But of course, the tectonics of this world would not have to emulate the reality.

Geology of OGF about 1 year ago

I have read all of the discussion, and it doesn't look imposible as it seems. Based in the map of mountain ranges provided by isleño, I found a pattern of mountain ranges from Kartumia, Antarephia, Ereva, Orano, Uletha and finishing in Tarephia. Pattern

The city of Kroün about 1 year ago

Is interesting how Kroün and Austraĉerfubo are connected. You have done a great work.

Pinterest/invitation to place buildings about 1 year ago

This is an interesting idea, how can I contribute to the OGF board in Pinterest?

More extra entry over 1 year ago

Now I have a new problem. I can't update my recent changes on the map, JOSM keeps updating and updating and nothing appears in the map. According to the map history, my last change have been 7 hours ago, while I've been trying to update since around two hours ago a new set of changes.

What should I do? (my ISP is crap, I know)

More extra entry over 1 year ago

Well, I have updated my system. JOSM works well again, all the tools with no errors. A fresh install is always refreshing.

But my ISP is horrible and saddly I don't have another better option. Fortunately I changed my DNS configuration and now it is working better.

Thanks Luciano for the observations in contours, but how do you draw them with JOSM, as just single lines? Also, I see you have interactive maps, multimaps, of many territories. Can I ask you for one of Aŭstrasuno Tero Provinces, please?
