A New Border City Begins Construction

Posted by CartographerKing on 24 October 2017 in English (English)

A city named Beras on the border of The United Cities of Plainus and Naexma has begun. The city is growing at a rapid pace, and it is not slowing down. The city is planned to be a thriving big city, a collab project for two mappers: Naexma and CartographerKing. If you want to check out progress go ahead. But, the city is growing and expect it to become colossal.

Location: Meteoropia, United Cities of Plainus (UCP)

Looks interesting. Maybe try and make your border more detailed. Then again, I've only been here for a few days!

Looks weird with no natural features surrounding it.

@Jesus Antonio We all appreciate you being supportive and helpful, but I think you should leave the feedback to more experienced users.

Thanks!

Here's an idea: why have colossal size when you can have a colossal level of detail in your city instead? OGF is not a competition in who makes the largest city, we put realism and beauty first.

Based on previous examples, odds are you will lose energy and enthusiasm for this project in quite a short time. Starting out with a huge metropolis is a bad idea for all sorts of reasons. Build a small town or natural feature first.

So just a motorway links up the city? No surface streets? Have you granted rights to pedestrians and bicycles along the route? I would think that a surface route should come first then the motorway.
