How do I ask to join a nation?

Posted by Kaiteu on 8 September 2017 in English (English)

Id like to get into another nation than just Midistland, but how do I do that? Madistland is getting boring because nothing is every being made rapidly. I want to get into a nation where buildings are being built at a point were I can see a difference.

Actually, you should always choose quality over speed and quantity. Nice, realistic places take more time to draw.

I don't think you quite understand the concept of this site Kaiteu if I may x3 You don't work with other members and you don't "join" a nation being mapped by another member. You take your own piece of land (you can take any of the Green HERE, just message the Admin first before you map anywhere.) After which you work on that piece of land alone, unless you make it a collaborative project, of which you'll also need to talk to others.

Basically Kaiteu, it's every person for themselves when it comes to mapping and you only focus on the land you claimed.

Of course you can also decide not to claim a Green Territory. In which case you'll need to keep mapping in Blue Territories like Midistland, etc. Or you can contact the owner of any of the Purple Collaborative countries to ask if you can work in their country.

Good luck with the future though, it's always nice to see people take interest in working with the community and other members. Keep Up The Mapping!

Aces, what about Unofficial collaboratives? Can't an owner invite the person in? Maybe my concept of this is wrong.

tbh I'm confused about the concept of there being 2 types of Collaborative projects x3 All I can say is...there's Collaborative projects that you need to ask the owner to let you edit there xD That goes for every Collaborative project for me.

@Aces California - Official collaboratives are those endorsed by and supported by the admin team. Unofficial collaboratives are just countries that people want to make collaborative without discussing with and without support from the admin team - it's a free planet, after all, so it can't really be prevented. But admin wanted to "discourage" collaborative projects (because they aren't very popular, and a lot of people have this weird idea that everyone will desperately want to collaborate on their boring motorwayland clone country, and there were all these failing collaborative projects all over OGF), so the idea is that there are only a few "official" ones at this point.
