Hi guys!!! I am back from my trip to Japan. On my trip to Japan I saw some very interesting street mapping. For example, I saw highways that went over house and roads four stories high. I really want to do that type of mapping but I do not no if that would look realistic in OpenGeoFiction. Can somebody please tell me if I can do this or not.

If you saw it in the real world, I think it's real enough to put into OGF! Japan has been mapped pretty extensively on OpenStreetMap, so if you're not sure how to present something like a highway going over a building or a multi-storey road in OGF, why not try to find one in Japan on OpenStreetMap and see how they mapped it?

Possibly in cities in limited spaces. I would not totally encourage highways in cities though.

I do have another question... How do I show a building that goes over rails????

Maybe building levels? http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:building:levels

Or more likely a building_passage tunnel. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:tunnel#tunnel.3Dbuilding_passage I am not sure if that tag works on railroads... there's no reason for it not to though!

i would only recommend this feature in big compact cities that lead somewhere so you don't have random highways over the city that do nothing just to make it more realistic
