oof, anyway Moorquay isn't exactly filled in properly, either?

Stuck. about 3 years ago

That's because of a slight scaling problem. It'd be about 0.2km2.

Stuck. about 3 years ago

Huh, no I didn't make that. I wanna have a look at that!

@TCC,

East coast of Commonia. It's near Bleekton, and Dahendroy.

I have no idea. I think it was a coincidence how mine's small, and I'm happy it is so that I can focus more on the details.

Stuck. about 3 years ago

@TCC, you probably have. If you look on the east coast, you'll find a place called Moorquay. That was enough for me to be allowed a territory (albeit a small one), and Dardis Heights is of better quality and is a bit larger, so even without the cleaning up you'd probably be able to get a territory.

Calora, the new country. about 3 years ago

Cool.

I would say that iD is probably best to use at first or to make more simple designs, but JOSM is recommended for going that extra mile with designing, and doing intricate details etc. If you really want to go for JOSM, I'd recommend to do so.

@magnesium, why is there a thing called Poo Street?

Houses for sale! over 3 years ago

TCC, no comment. KalR, I think you misinterpreted the meaning of a blue country. It is there for anybody TO edit, but you cannot edit to create whatever you so please. There aren't really regulations or rules, but just common sense. E.g. don't make absolute rubbish that doesn't make any sense or has no meaning, don't make extremely unrealistic things that render the whole town off the grid or of a strange origin etc...

Okay, first, I'd like to point out that it isn't really a city, no offense. Unless under circumstances like the fact that it may have stagnated in growth for hundreds of years (cities in Wales, for example), it is very unlikely that it would be given city status. But - it looks really good, to start off with. I can imagine a large town or small city being built around this, and there are an awful lot of services. I'd just make more neighbourhoods and housing estates, for now. Maybe even build it as if it was in the location it was, and accommodate the surroundings within it. :D (Much better than anything I was and am doing!)

Put a nice lil tree in stjur's house. Magnesium's home location is a tree in my garden. :D

@Everyone (what does this even do lol) Heh, I came back and the diary entry's got another 15 pointless comments. Make that 16. :D

Also, if you really want a house (god alone knows why, but eh), then make one. I made my own, apparently magnesium lives in the tree in my garden (lol).

Hi, again. over 3 years ago

@stjur Your point stands, but that isn't quite what I do it for. I'm still fairly new, and I don't want a repeat of Monmouth, so I like to ask for feedback before I go and screw it up all over again. @NickRod Hmm, thanks. @The_Cute_Chick Thanks. And yeah, the ring road was just an impulsive idea which would have screwed around with a lot of stuff. I think the roads can be an issue when they have the same names, especially/or when it goes on for too long, but combating that leads to the very problem you bring forward.

@The_Cute_Chick I think "NOOOOO WHAT HAPPENED TO CHILDREN'S WAY" does kind of, at least, imply that he's worked out it's disappeared.

Brieland Feedback over 3 years ago

Hmm, I'd consider just doing the landscaping before starting the towns and villages, just because it helps you understand what kind of town/city/village to create and why it's like that, instead of trying to do them at the same time. For what you need to do better, no offense, there isn't much to comment on. It looks really good so far, but there isn't a great deal to comment upon.

@geoboi Good point.
