Posted by AustinofOketia on 11 March 2019 in English (English)

So I have been brainstorming about names for my country, by I am finding it really hard. If you want, please leave a name suggestion below. The winner gets a town named after them in my country! Thanks.

Location: -26.505, 146.409

I will like to know about the history of this nation first though.

Was it part of Mecyna? What is the culture of the nation? Was it a former British/Spanish (Ingerish/Castellanese) colony?

I thought of naming it after a state in Mecyna such as South Volopinate.

The country was never related to mecyna. (: It was formed by native people from different villages coming together to unite, however it did have some (OGF equivalent to Japanese) influence during the industrial era

Dejaland sounds a bit Scandinavia.

I say, Deijn or Dayjne (Inglish, sounds like how one say dane or day but with the "j" sound at the end). You can say that "Deijn" means shallow water or a shallow bay, thus the land of the shallow sea.

Or if you wanted to sound exotic, Dejtch (sounds date-j-ch), Dejon or Dejan, Dejpon, Dejsal, Dejsen or Dejet, Dejsallis would work.

Okuketsu - Formed from the Japanese word for many (多く), and unity (団結). Well, I'm not a Japanese language expert, but from the history explanation you gave Zhenkang, it, or a variant of it may work.

Oketsu? Not sure.

Thanks,
Zekiel

Just asking, why Japanese? I mean if thats the case why not apply one at East Uletha, somewhere near Kojo/Belphenia/Hoppon there?
