South of Marvin (Beach area) Feedback

Posted by AustinofOketia on 9 March 2020 in English (English)

I have put a high density of towns and villages south of Marvin and hope to do the same for all rivers and lakes, and slightly less dense for the rest of the country. We need dense countryside seeing as our population is 23,000,000 in such a tiny country.

You shouldn't have such an enormous population for such a tiny country. Try to make the population around five million instead— otherwise, the population density per square mile is around two-thousand-one-hundred-and-eighty-eight (2,188). While many countries have a higher densities (exactly five political entities)— this is usually because of how small the country is, and how many people are crammed within the borders. Oketia is much, much bigger, so the density and population are both unrealistic.

It's a good start, but I would suggest taking inspiration from osm as well. Is this meant to be a Smiley Face?

That's the Japanese katakana for 'tsu', I believe.

Is there anywhere on earth where roads go like this?

Seems a common thing on OGF though.

To everyone who has mapped roads like that: Please get rid of them

And also, A inovation district doesn't have to be cool looking. This is unrealistic, In my opinion. https://opengeofiction.net/#map=16/-26.8271/145.9470

To be honest, it doesn't look 'cool'; it's just a circle tool with roads stretching across like variants of the diameter.

I have one more inquiry— why did you ask us about how you could make a Central American country when you weren't going to do so anyway?

The lack of motorways could have put him off. But maybe he just changed his mind. It doesn't really matter.

I assume OP is referring to this? Firstly as comment #2 mentioned, the distance between 'towns' is too small in comparison to a real-world analogue with similar density - there should also be plenty of green spaces between them. Secondly other than some roads here and there, I've no idea what else you're trying to show us
