Are there any good examples of ruins, temples, any ancient places on OGF? I am making a very old abandoned city in ruins, and I am in a need for inspiration.

If there are none (I doubt that) maybe some Inca/Aztec/Maya ones would be good. (from the real world).

Thank you in advance.

Not technically "ruins" - I have mapped the city of Quelepa, which is an effort at "historical" mapping. This is what Quelepa looked like in around 1300 AD. It is based on Mesoamerican pre-Columbian cities such as Palenque, Tikal, or Teotihuacán.

My plan is to later map my modern city of Comala ON TOP OF this mapping, while leaving the historical city in place adapting features of the OpenHistoricalMap - a project built using the same OSM software stack as OGF.

I have started the same concept here, with the ancient city of Arbaronga, which underlies the Ardispherian capital of Villa Constitución.

Both of these historical cities look good in the TopoMap layer, too. Try it. You'll see how the cities fit in to the topography - e.g. Arbaronga is a hilltop fortification.

There are other precolonial ruins dotted around Ardisphere, mostly incomplete.

The one in Antharia is a great example and probably the best on the site. Leo has done a few throughout southern Kojo too, if I recall correctly, that are quite nice. I have a quite a few scattered throughout the Sansu Mattiaù diocese in various places (backstory available here). There's also an ancient cave complex and some ruins just south of Maqri near the Sathrian border.
