Country reset

Posted by Tito_zz on 28 December 2018 in Spanish (Español)

Hello. I want to reset my country, Ünglend, because I want to start all over and I feel I did it a bit wrong. But how do I reset it?

Hi, if you want to reset your country, you can do several things:

  • If you want to completely delete your mapping, but you do not want to change the name of your country, its' language, history etc. you can completely delete it. But I think it's a pity, because your mapping is really nice, at least much nicer than mine!
  • If you want to change your country's language, history, name, or things like that, you are welcome to do it. At the first, you should rename your country and add the {{LostCountry}} template to the top of the wiki article. Then you should delete it from all the lists Ünglend is in and rename your towns and settlements.
  • You can also choose both of the options- to start completely clear and with no mapping or material of the country
  • If you are disappointed with the territory, you can ask admin for another one. But remember to change your terrítory's name back to TA114c, when you get another territory!

I wish you good luck with future mapping and Happy New Year 2019. From Naajaland-Arisuaq.

@Tito_zz I did this partially for my country, Basmia, a few months back. If you use JOSM you can use the Lasso Select tool to select all your objects, then press delete.

Hope this helps.
