I have created a lake in north-western Uletha called “Paivat”.

“Paivat” probably means something like “the water of the day” in Läxian language. It may have different names in different languages.

The northern side of the lake is a rocky archipelago (which i am working on right now), streching from east to west. While the southern side is pretty sandy, just like northern Germany and Poland.

Paivat lake is formed by an ancient glacial activity within this area, which created the many lakes, inlets and bogs of Läxland.

Paivat is inspired by the Saimaa lakeland in Finland and the Ladoga lake in Russia. I have always loved the patterns of the nordic lakes and islands, willing to create such natural artwork on OGF.

I have been playing around praticing different mapping skills on Läxland. Now it’s probably time to decide how Läxland should look like geographically.

I have always loved lakes, so I am thinking of a lake-land-landscape like one in Finland with Saimaa lake which could be fun to map, but perhaps doesn’t suit with my location geografically.

Or a lake to the south like Lake Lagoda in Russia formed by continetal glacier or was a part of a primitive sea.

What do you think i should go for to be realistic, should i stick to large areas of forest, rivers and bog?

Haarinkonaaipi lies in the north of Uletha, a few kilometres off the south eastern coast of konsiat. The territory consists of a group of mountainous and flat islands.

The country is inhabited by two contrasting groups of people: Haapi people (or the fishers who have blonde hair-blue eyes) and Ölleau people ( the reindeer herders who have dark-brown hair- green eyes Aasiatic people).

The name “Haa-rin-ko-naai-pi” literally means “Sea of sun’s new land”.

Being very excited and impatiently waiting to map on my claimed territory, I wonder how long it usually takes for other users to get approved by admins in order to start editing on their claimed territories after their first 7 days.

We need a land to settle in! We would like to be in the northern region of the globe with snow and mountains in order for us to herd our reindeers, and fish.

We are interested in northern Uletha, particularly northern Konsiat. We would be very appreciated if Konsiat could give it’s northern region to us!!
