Would be a good idea to my countries??

I need to read opinions of yours about one thing I am thinking last days.
Looks like Itacolomi is so big to Cariocas Islands. There are viaducts, a lot of urban buses terminals, football (soccer) stadiums, etc. Still there are other “big” cities in the country, like Gragoatá and Piratiba, but the “problem” now is focused in Itacolomi.
Currently I am editing Barra da Grama but my plans to 2017 in OGF are about re-creating Cariocas, my first country here.
So, I would not like to simply delete Itacolomi. I am thinking about “transfer” the map to Luslandia, another country I have but not so well mapped yet.
More exactly to Leopoldina, in capital metropolitan area, but obviously with not so much indigenous names.
And, after this, rebuild Itacolomi, but not the same size, and all the metropolitan towns in the area. And the rest of the country, hehehe…
Would be this a good idea?

Every time I have moved something (like when I recently moved Tárrases) I have been happy with the decision in the long run.
Aside from giving your city more room to grow, the process of moving can help you work out other issues, or repair things that need repairing.
So my advice is to “go for it” - If you feel like it would fit better in Luslandia, go ahead and move it. You don’t need to eliminate the indigenous component, either - I like that aspect. Surely you can make some story for how the indigenous were in Luslandia, originally, too? If Luslandia is meant to be more “Portuguese Culture” you could create an “autonomous indigenous area” where that city is located.

Concordo com o Luciano, Bruno! Acho que a mudança pode ser interessante e acredito que o componente indígena possa até continuar, afinal, o “Portugal” de OGF é Florescenta, não é? Assim, Luslandia não precisaria ser 100% portuguesa!
De qualquer forma, eu gosto de Cariocas do jeito que está, não acho que as cidades sejam tão grandes assim, mas se você deseja aumentar o tamanho das cidades, daí realmente acho que vão ficar muito grandes pras ilhas!

Right. Maybe I dont need to delete Itacolomi metropolitan region in Cariocas and re-do everything.
I still think there are so much urban areas in Cariocas. But maybe I just have to change some details and aspects here. Next week I will delete all the viaducts (not the links to bridges), delete some bus terminals, and delete at least 60% of the streets in Várzea da Palma and Itororó.
After this, the focus will be transfering/re-doing… Piratiba, (and its related wiki articles). I still did not decide where I will use Piratiba map (at least the streetgrid). But…
The only definition is: Cariocas needs less urban areas.

I don’t think you need to delete a lot of things. I think your country will still look impressive if you just lower the population density. You can make the outskirts as dense as 4,000 ppsm or less and not change a single thing but significantly lower population.
