Hello, I am user Brunanter and just joined today. I`ve started work on a small town beside a motorway intersection (here: http://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/35.3179/97.2891). The names and businesses are taken mostly from a nation project I edit on wikia.
So, Ideas, comments?

Welcome, Brunanter!! Its a good start, I like it! But, please, if you want some tips, take a look in a topic about making realistic cities.
Another thing, you are building in Midistland, most exactly in “Region C”, a province/state still with no name, but in a spanish-speakers area, so, please, try using spanish names in this town.

Hello, I think, your motorway-crossing is not complete. There are missing all left going junctions (p.e. to get from west to north and so on).

Well that was more of a exercise to see how the map editing works. I started a more apart city to develop from the old center and out, to see how it can work. I chose beside the motorway for the first one, but you have to build from the present and you can develop it naturally.

That’s a great start, Brunanter! I’m looking forward to seeing your city grow! I myself wouldn’t build so many things surrounding an intersection like that, maybe I would build more parks, green areas and grasslands around it, but it is completely up to you!
