Okay - I'm officially taking it on. Wow!

But now Enkalang sounds too Malay to me,

Kalango? Agolide? (Chichewa for "golden") Zabaria...?

I've decided main native language will be "Chechiwa": largely parallel to rw Chichewa.

Digging into my Chichewa dictionary tomorrow!

You shouldn't call it Chechiwa, that's too similar to Chichewa. But I like Kalango.

Really? I figured since the other languages were named close to their rw counterpart...

No matter - I've decided to meld Chichewa and Shona together as the native language: "Chichona". They're both Bantu languages and closer to one another than Chichewa and Lingala. AND Google translate has BOTH available, to my surprise.

And yes - i think I'm officially going with Kalango.

Still, that's not very original, Maybe the name of the language should be “our language”, “Kalangian” or something.
