So lemme get this straight…literally half of the world in OGF is missing right? so how come there’s no one in the history of OGF discovering the West? So are we in the 1400s or something?
And OGF is the actual civil-advanced planet mother nature told us not to worry about??!

No, OGF is set in the present and the reason that some continents to the west are left totally unmapped is that they are not yet ready for people to claim them. We have just left them out of the history of OGF so that when people can begin to claim them then we can start from anew.

Maybe to the people living in the OGF world the countries in the west hemisphere are already there… But due to some reasons they are not included on the map.

I see it differently (at the same way of poweikao; i think he’s right)
those territories are not “not-existent”, but they are “not-mapped”, more precisely, “not mapped into OGF”.
Let’s imagine the moment when, a few years ago, in the real world, began the collaborative mapping through OSM. Surely there was a moment, in the first weeks, when a part of our true planet Earth was not yet mapped in OSM. Well: it did not mean that part of Earth “did not exist”. So: the same is for the part not yet mapped in OSM. OSM, I think, is not “a world”, but it is “the map of a world”.
(This is true both for the entire planet and, in small, for every single city or country in OGF among those mapped and not yet completed).
