There is just too much space for one person to add residential zoning to. I’m talking a lot of space. so here is the jist, Anyone in the Commonia Area that is editing near New Commonia in the Upper Thoraqua/ Lower Thoraqua area and has nothing to edit … well I got something for you. I am creating a town “Freetabourgh” at the end of the C12 corridor right after The I-85 exit. This town consists of alot of city space for houses, and other city services. Please feel free to add anything you want, anywhere you want, but please do not cross the border. I am asking this because I am about to go on a holiday to West Virginia, and I will need as much help as possible. I do not want to have to completely do the whole thing a couple days behind where the town should be done… Thank you in advance! P.S NOTHING INNAPORPIATE

I keep seeing posts like this and it fundamentally misunderstands the point of OGF. It is a misunderstanding which I think is behind a lot of sub-par mapping on this site.
OGF is not a game. It is not Simcity, you do not have to fill up the map or finish your cities or complete an area so you can move on to the next. It is a tool for creative sandboxing. It is a canvas on which you can create an imagined geography, that is the point of OGF. The OGF world is the same size as the actual world so it will never be ‘complete’.
There are plenty of good collaborative territories in OGF which are there to support new mappers or to build cities using innovative, collaborative means. They don’t exist so that areas of the map can be ‘completed’ as quickly as possible.
There really is no-one on OGF who isn’t working on their own project (collaborative or not) so there won’t be people looking around just waiting for you to ask them to ‘fill up’ your mapping. When I go on holiday I just stop mapping. It would make no sense for me to ask people to map Myrcia in my absence because it is a creative project of my own and not a ‘game’ where I’m trying to finish the island.

if you look at other cities around the world (Tareses, Tarott, Troie, Barra da Grama, and for my own ego, Kanton) you will see that if you put sufficient time into a place it can be done to a high level of detail by one person. That’s the life lesson here, that you get out what you put in, so if you want a hasty, lazy looking map go ahead and be lazy and don’t bother to research, plan or detail anything. If you want a great map you know what to do now.

And you have also got the names of Australian states as names for your roads this violates one of the rules “No extensive copying of real world geography.
