If you’re using OGF from a mobile device or with a smaller screen, there may be no editing button indeed, but you can always click on the link http://opengeofiction.net/edit for editing.

I’ve been having this problem in Chrome with Potlatch as well. If I go from view to user diaries view, either the edit button (and all the other buttons in the top menu bar) reappears, or I just click on edit from the user diaries screen and it takes me in. Seems to be a bug that came after the latest changes to OGF earlier this spring.
