I was wanting to try the OGF scale helper again and was wondering if others had come across a problem I found. When I try the scale it works on the OSM (OpenStreetMap) end, but I can’t with OGF (OpenGeoFiction). What’s going on? Do I have to zoom up or down to scale, or is it something wrong on the site’s end?

I’ve just been wondering as I like the tool instead of trying to export a map manually to get scalings right.

Any info or tips?

It’s been a year since I did anything, as I have to part with Euresia, and wanted to start something new in a small form. I’m always fascinated with islands, thus I am working on the Island of Libéron. Here’s a layout of what I wanted to do. It’s still in progress, so finger’s crossed.

I thought I post some insights (if there ever is), but has anyone tried Fractal Terrains 3? I checked it out this weekend and tried the demo, and was wondering if anyone tried it to create land patterns, etc…

A possible heads-up. I hope I’m not spamming, as I myself am trying to find ways to make a realistic territory, which is the reason for my long absence (I managed to delete my odd riverways for a new one).

In case if anyone’s interested, I have found a tool (based on Wikipedia), that would let you create a parliament/party diagram online - just like one would do in creating a flag online.

If this have been share before, I apologize.

I just thought I share this with the OGF community for anyone wanting to do government/political input in their countries.

I was following on some tutorials on how rivers flow, and I think I come up with another concept.

I have managed to put up a wiki of my country of Euresia, with updates the country’s flag, land elevations (my attempts), and highways. Here are some images of what I want to accomplish.

for my country Eureisia. I been rattling my brain for the longest in creating one that I’ve seen many users made. Can one create it using MS Paint to make the elevations, colors and whatnot. I have been making a big terrain like land via Sketchup, saved it as a 2d image and wanting to trace it via pencil and paper and transfer it to a paint program.

Maybe I’m asking my own question.

Any ideas?

How many rails would be suitable for a railway system about to enter a station? Is one railway way good enough as a rough draft to indicate a railway system, or should there be rows of rails and what are its limits? I’m trying to create my city through my mind and I like to know the accuracy of it.

There could be some questions I like to ask, granted that I’m new to territory creation, so bear with me.
