When this happens there are usually self-crossing lines. However, in this case you haven’t given any of the ways roles (ie: inner or outer), so they won’t render.

I have a similar problem with this relation and some around it: https://opengeofiction.net/relation/262348. I assigned roles to all ways and there also no self crossing lines. How can I fix it and make it show up on the map?

You need to add building=yes to those relations.
