Recently I’ve noticed that this website is slow to load up anything. It’s just this website, not any other one, so it’s not my connection. DId anyone else notice this, and if so, what do you think is going on?

I noticed the slowdown when I tried to load up my territory’s data in JOSM, especially going to other countries. Looks like a technical issue here.

Loading up the website, the map, and the iD editor isn’t slow for me at all. (my ISP is Comcast in Seattle)

I have also noticed slow connection times over the last month or so, mostly when viewing the map (it seems to stall for a while, and then suddenly loads), but also when uploading change sets through JOSM. I assumed it was due to increased interest in the website and additional traffic on the server.

I had the same idea: more people visiting the website and working on their different countries. And though somewhat slower i had no real problems until early this afternoon. Then the uploading of changeset 46087 didn’t seem to work as it kept on uploading for over half an hour. I stopped this process then and tried it again, but then got all kind of errors in JOSM which indicated that a part had been uploaded and had to be synchronized. In the website itself i saw none of my adjustments. I left it at that and (after saving my own edits) closed JOSM and thought about trying again tomorrow.
Now, visiting the website again, i see all my edits have been uploaded. I also have downloaded the area again and see no strange things. So i wonder what was wrong earlier this day. The only thing i can think of is the changeset being larger then earlier with over 5000 points. But is there a maximum to uploading in JOSM?
