With South Vienna the fastest growing district as of now, cities are quickly springing up in the PR 79 ring. Seeing as PR 79 will easily get congested soon, and that its alignment is a general inconvience, I propose a new alignment of PR 79 running along the South Vienna/Guernsey Territory line. This bypass will not only help traffic congestion in the future, but also provide a quicker way to the country line. When the bypass is completed, the old alignment of PR 79 will be renumbered PR 279.

North Vienna and South Vienna has been lobbying hard for the completion of Motorway 91 and the completion of the Arlington & Petersburgh Railroad. With these two links complete, much of the pressure on PR 79 will be alleviated. The NV/SVDOT policy regarding PR 79 is to maintain an average posted speed limit of 60 MPH. The only places where the speed limit drops below 60 is Wixon (45 MPH) and the stretch through the mountains of South Vienna (from Baum Hill to the border with unincorporated Drevet, 50 MPH).
The official stand from North and South Vienna is the completion of Motorway 91.

Well, in this case, Motorway 91 is completed as far as I know from Petersburgh to the country line. With PR 79 only going 60 MPH or lower, and the expected growth of South Vienna, Motorway 91 is not helpful with the PR 79 problem, as the two go nowhere near each other.

Completing the Moulis-Arlington gap in MW 91 would encourage much of the through traffic off of PR 79, which is the only complete north-south link in the country. South Vienna built the PR 133/Dorr Expressway to encourage through traffic onto the finished portion of MW 91.
