The gold crown on a white background doesn’t show up too well (the normal rule in heraldry is “don’t put yellow/gold on white/silver or vice versa, and don’t put any other colour on any other colour”).
Perhaps a simpler crown would be better, especially if the coat of arms is old.
I would increase the thickness of the border around the cross, to distinguish it better from the blue background.

The crown looks fine! The flag looks great, i’d say stick with it.
