Revamping my Nation. ( Phase 0 )
Posted by Mikelatham on 28 March 2017 in English. Last updated on 29 March 2017.Alderon ( The name of my Nation ) Is realy unrealistic due to how I messed up with scale when I started It over a year ago and So my Capital and other places in my Nation may look messy for a littile while.

I think you might find it quite liberating to start again from scratch in some areas. Certainly your main city is plagued by an overabundance of highways and airports and a mass transit system which feels very inorganic.
If you really do want to try mapping realistically then perhaps create a small town as ‘proof of concept’ in which you could practice the correct scale and other elements which create realistic geofiction cities. I could see something interesting coming out of Bayvil perhaps. You would need to start by eradicating the highways and international airport.
Take a look at somewhere like Tarott to see somewhere with exemplary scale, an organic structure and a realistic infrastructure.
It would be nice to think you could develop a good mapping style but it’s taken you 1,450 edits to realise your scale is wrong so you need to seriously look at what Alderon would look like going forward before you’re another 1,450 edits in the future and still not mapping well.

Thank you Myrcia I am working on a ‘test town’ and my new capital will not have a overabondence of highways and skyscrapers like the last one

Infact Ill start with Bayvill. Bayvill is going to thrive in torrisum ( the beaches ) and im going to delete the highways and make the airport 1 runway and not internatinal. ( like most small islands )

Problem with Tags
on the online editor the butten that normaly pulls down a list of Tags is not working.
My Coastline is messed up…
I axedentaly did this but How do I revert edits?
