OpenGeofiction
I’ve been working on a re-build on Dunwic’s central station this week. Sarepava gave me some very helpful feedback on the old station and I decided to start from scratch to rebuild it. It’s inspired by Dutch stations where the railway is on an elevated level with a concourse at ground level and metro tracks below ground.
I am particularly proud of the station plan on the wiki page.

Indeed, your station plans on the wiki page are gorgeous.
May I ask, out of curiosity, what tools/techniques you used to create them? I may lack the relevant expertise, but perhaps someday … I can dream. I am notoriously inept with drawing tools of all sorts, despite my abilities with JOSM - I have even broken down and actually used JOSM to “draw” non-map objects that I then “export” using screenshots, which is about as kludgy and one can imagine - for example, several of my flag designs were originally drawn in JOSM.

Both the map and the wiki page are excellent! I’m a regular visitor to Myrcia to browse around and also for inspiration when I’m stuck and you’ve done a very good job with the station.
I also like how your wiki page has such few redlinks. I haven’t seen a mapper that maps or has wiki pages as detailed as you. It wouldn’t look at all out of place if you put it on OSM!
Looking at my capital, Wyndham, I think Wyndham Central Street has its platforms a bit too long and a bit too wide now we’re the subject . I’ve started on expanding Wyndham, but currently its going at a slow pace. Coincidentally I’ve been drawing much of Wyndham’s railway infrastructure in the past few days, including the Glastrail Marshal ling Yard, which looks a mess on a low zoom but is better the closer you look.

Excellent work. The station looks exactly like what it is: a remodelled site of an older station. Putting the metro lines underground entirely makes much more engineering sense. The diagrams are very believable and it’s good that you managed to edit an appropriate real-world station to illustrate the place. I want to do something similar for Karolian stations now…

First of all: the station map looks amazing! As someone living in The Netherlands I can imagine this being in my city, so it’s pretty realistic. And I love the detail you’ve done with the passages, the shops, and all the green space around your station.
The wiki page is also very nice, with beautiful detailed graphics. You really get a good picture of the station with all that extra info. Exceptionally impressive job!
