Have coastline updates been temporarily halted? I did some major revision near my capital about this time yesterday (10:30ish US EST) and they still haven’t gone into effect.

I worried about the same issue a while ago; I think for coastlines the time needed to be updated by the server can exceed several days. So, as long as when you open the editor and see the actual path of the coastline changed there, it’s only a matter of time for the graphics to adjust as well.

Ok. It does show correctly when I download to JOSM, so no problem there.
I think I saw somewhere (FAQ maybe?) that coastline updates were every 4 hours, although I may be mistaken or that could be out of date info.

Two months ago, I implemented a new coastline update process, which allows updating the coastline more often, i.e. every 30 minutes. Apparently, the new method still has some problems. It will be fixed once I have the time, but unfortunately the current state will likely persist for a few days.

Good to know. In the mean time I’ll continue to giggle at my impromtu islands and flooded city-centre.

I’ll be sure to note that for when I edit again. (Yes I’m back!)

The problem should be fixed for now. However, the root cause is still unknown, so it might happen again. Please let me know whenever it does.

My new west coast of Maalfland was not refreshed.
(But I am pretty sure that the new coastline was already shown correctly some days ago…
