How long does it take for admins to read and reply to a request for a territory?
Posted by TheHolyEpicpenguin on 18 December 2016 in English.A couple hours ago, I requested the territory of Fleeteles (AN129). I’m still waiting, and I haven’t gotten a reply yet. I asked somebody how long does it take, and they said it took them one hour. How long is it supposed to take, and what is the longest it’ll take? Thanks!

A couple of hours could be anything. Note that admins have a lot more to do than just work with OGF. My guess is that tomorrow (or even earlier, depending on when you asked) you will propably have your territory.

A couple of active admins, weekend,… A few days would be a reasonable expectation.

OGF is staffed by volunteers, almost all of whom have day jobs and other work. We like to be as efficient as possible, but it’s not a slick company where your order gets dealt with instantly. Be patient and it will be sorted. Maybe read some user guides on the wiki whilst you wait?

I actually had to wait two days, but it’s quite worth the waiting.
