The Antarephian Alliance (AnA) is a politico-economic union of two member states that are located primarily in Antarephia. The AnA has developed an internal single market through a standardised system of laws that apply in all member states. AnA policies aim to ensure the free movement of people, goods, services, and capital within the internal market, enact legislation in justice and home affairs, and maintain common policies on trade, agriculture, fisheries, and regional development.
The principal decision-making body is Antarephian Council.

Great Idea! Although I’d have to think about it. I believe Pasalia would act more like Switzerland, allowing passage, but otherwise keeping its sovereignity over laws and trade rules. Maybe have it have had a Pasalexit hehe. So would this be more like the EU and include a shared currency? Because of Pasalias strong focus on itself and large national pride I don’t think it’ll fit in there. But make sure to keep me and others updated on this thing! Greetings kingfries

It is more like the European Economic Area or at least European Economic Community (the single market: the free movement of goods, capital, services, and people within the AnA, passport controls have been abolished. It is also founded for the protection of the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities … in a society in which pluralism, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and equality between women and men prevail. Shared currency is not obligatory. I hope that you are going to join us, at least with the Pasalexit.

Do you it might be a good idea to merge this with the existing Tarephia-Antarephia Free Trade Agreement? Or somehow have them be linked or related? TAFTA has existed for quite some time and was intended to also include Antarephia. However, at the time of creation, there seemed to be little to no interest.

I’m fine with updating the timeline for TAFTA to make it better fit with AnA if they can coexist or work together. It seems like maybe TAFTA could have been created later as an extension of the AnA to have some free trade with a select number of Tarephian nations as well.

I support this concept and wish you luck, but my Antarephian countries, Mahhal and Tárrases, cannot join because of how I’ve defined them geopolitically (Mahhal is geopolitically very isolated and xenophobic, and Tárrases is a bit of a “Hong Kong” entity on the edge of Mahhal). Perhaps Mahhal could be viewed as a “threat” to your countries - one of the causes or justifications for the alliance? Feel free to use the country as a foil in your articles if you want, but note that Mahhal is not imperialistic, just xenophobic.

Ernestpcosby - I think that TAFTA and AnA would be like EFTA and EU… if you agree.
Alejandro24 - I’am not sure will the Alliance have observer members. Only fulltime members, candidates, or those who cooperate via TAFTA. I hope you will join us.

I think Woolonia would be interested in joining the AnA. It already has free trade with Freedemia through WIFTA so it wouldn’t need to be part of TAFTA.

TAFTA stands for Tarephia-Antarephia Free Trade Agreement, EFTA is from real life and stands for European Free Trade Association, EU is real life and stands for European Union
