Updates.
Queensboro GA
revised routes .. Freeways are now GA routes (Galitania) instead of national routes.
Motorway A-2 (and Primary route 2) have been extended out to Queensboro and will be the new western terminus of A-2
Streets and avenues need much development. nodes need to be connected where they cross each other at-grade
Gautig AR
There is a new massive development for industrial and commercial development northwest of the airport.. Major streets are built on a 1/4 mile grid. Residential areas will be located away for the airport noise zones to the north and west of Weisbaden Village.. Please feel free to add any contributions
Ontaro NP
See Separate Diary Entry
Crofton GA
This city needs some major development as well. Since it is the capital city of the district it needs a Capitol. Also it is the twin city to Malinton AV (Alora) and should be about the same size

Comment from Kalh79 on 9 August 2014 at 11:02 New motorways in Gobrassanya:
A 10 corridor (Western Border Motorway) : Crofton Ring - Crofton - (Construction) - A7 motorway - A XX motorway
A 20 corridor : Parma - Queensboro - Colquitam - Border line (16 highway)
A XX (A3 corridor): Border line - A 10 motorway - Colquitam
What number could we assigne the A XX (proposed A 3 corridor)??
Proposals:A 3 (but would be divided in two branches) ; A 8; A 17…

A 10………was part of the original plan. it is fine to extend it to Crofton.
A 20………is also good as well. but not sure about the A 29 spur. it should be an A X20 instead
A 3……….Proposed A 3. A 8 works for the section west of A 7 but leaves it out of sequence for east of A 7 but i suppose we would need to make a numbering exception for that. since there are no other single digit highway numbers left except A 6. My original plan was to have it as A 3 even though there is a Gap between the Eastern and western legs of A 3 it still keeps the highway in sequence and travelers could navigate between each section by following A 1 between the two segments.
A 6……….It depends where this highway will extend to as to which number is assigned. Maybe this could be a western extension of A 2 west from Gautig. it would better fit the overall travel scheme that way.

A 29 could also be A 19 if it is planned to run north to Crofton/Malinton

A quick note on motorway density: there’s already about 6000 km of motorway in Gobrassanya, which divided by an area of 120 000 km2 gives a motorway density of about fifty meters per square kilometer (50m/km2).
This figure surpasses any country on Earth of similar size. Only the Netherlands and Belgium have a higher motorway density (55m/km2) but they are much smaller countries, with very high population density and far fewer mountains.
In terms of motorway density, the closest comparably sized country is South Korea, and even they have 20% fewer motorways per square kilometer (40m/km2). Most countries have far less (Germany = 36m/km2, Japan = 20m/km2, France = 18m/km2, UK = 15m/km2).
So in addition to drawing new motorways, it may also be good to evaluate the existing motorways and see if there are any that lack sufficient traffic and could be downgraded to primary highway. After all we don’t want Gobrassanya to end up like this: http://i.imgur.com/zGxv2R7.png ;-)
Happy motoring!

isleño. I see your point here are some recommendations
REcommended for potential removal (could be replaced with primary or secondary highways if needed.
A 104 Serves largely unpopulated gallaton valley. this route also connects to E-78 in Alora. both routes could be converted to primary or truck roads south of the airport and could be upgrded in the future should the valley be more developed. A-104 will likely need to be renumbered.
A 8 renumber as 3 and convert to a trunk road with potential for future development to a motorway should development warrant. This roadway largely travels through rural areas.
A 65 south of A 7 the roadway traverses steep mountainous terrain and with such close proximity to both A 60 and A 70 it is not needed. Supplemental routes (A 465) could be renumbered as auxiliaries of A 70 or A 9 (ie A 470)… South of ominoso to A 7 the roadway could be downgraded to a trunk road until further needs warrant.
A 80 west of A 85 could be removed or converted to a primary highway instead. A 85 would be renumbered as its previous designation as A 80.
A 90 potential downgrade to primary or trunk road
Recommended for renumbering
A 29 extension to Crofton not needed since it is in such close proximity to A 20. renumber spur as A 120
A-10 should remain as provisional and not further developed at this time since it is currently served by Primary Highway 12 which is adequate. A 10 near crofton could be designated as 901 and be converted to a trunk road only not a motorway

Additionally there are too many major airports being developed in too close of a proximity to one another.
Los Angeles is only served by ONE major international airport (other airports like Burbank, John Wayne and Ontario either exclusively serve domestic flights or only 1-2 international flights and are much smaller in size. And while San Diego is an international airport it only has one runway and is over 100 miles away (160 km) from LAX. Some of these 5 and 6 runway airports are only spaced about 30 to 70km apart. far to big for the communities they serve. We may want to scale back these mega projects to one runway and then develop larger airports as the cities are developed.
This goes for airports in all of western Gobrassanya.
Another example.
San Francisco is served by only ONE major international airport (The other two Oakland Intl and San Jose Intl are significantly smaller airports and are reliever airports for SFO Sacramento also has an international airport but is is also over 100 miles from SFO and serves moslty domestic flights and is only 1/3 the size of SFO and serves much fewer passengers.

Revised listing
Ontaro Potential extension of A 35 (long range planning) Downsize airport (too close to Gautig and Queensboro airports to be as large as it is and city is too small to support such a large airport.

@indyroads - I think your highway recommendations are great, and you have a good point about the airports. Maybe some runways could be moved to other locations? I know Lonowai’s eastern island could use an airport and perhaps Gobras City is big enough to need a smaller backup airport? I imagine the Gobrassanya Air Force could probably use a base or two somewhere as well.

Gatwick handles 35M passengers/year on a single runway, Heathrow 70M+ on two… Just saying.
