It seems that people are not using the diaries as a source for discussion pages as much as before. Maybe we need to look into starting a forum similar to AARoads forum [ http://www.aaroads.com/forum/ ] to facilitate such development discussion in an area that is not appropriate for discussion in the wiki or in these diary pages. Simple Machines is a good forum engine.

I’m not sure another option is the best answer. The Wiki could be easily used for this. We could expand the idea of the “OGF:” pages on the Wiki to include “projects” for collaboration. For example “OGF: Project Gobras City” - the main page includes the guidelines for designing the city, the talk page serving as discussion.

I think Talk:OGF: pages should be used to discussing projects, and the OGF: pages could serve as actual wiki articles describing the project.
For example: OGF:Project Gobras City – about the project. Talk:OGF:Project Gobras City – discussion of the project.
A forum might be a better idea though.

I do think a forum works best for multi-subject discussions all in one place and easy to see updates.
