I asked a while ago how to load a relation in JOSM and people said it couldn’t be done! I’m so happy to find out there is a way to do it. I’ve been going into Potlatch every time I want to add a branch to my lists of supermarkets etc.

Yes, there is a way :) Usually I load one member of the relation and just copy and paste it, update the values and add it to the loaded relation. That’s much faster than creating new objects from scratch and using objects download.

Love it! I’ve tried it to get a list of settlements in Wesmandy, along with their shires.

Oddly, there are a few places at the end of the table where it is not picking up my (non-standard) “is_in:shire” tag. I’m not sure why.

Thank you very much Pawl for showing me that there are still things not working! :)

Yesterday I tried to find out what has happened… I don’t see any reason why it is not working. The nodes, relation and all tags are defined properly. What I already tried:

I removed one of the places (Lonstone) from the relation and added it again -> It does work now as it should be! I did the same with the other places, nothing changed :(

I copied some places to my territory, add them to a new relation, everything was fine (so the tags are correct)

I duplicated the relation and deleted 1/2 of the members -> the same error occurs (so there’s no timed-out problem)

I wonder about that the members are always at the end on the list…

Maybe somebody else had ever seen such a bug?

I’ve solved the “problem”…
