after i edit few node is andalaz coastline, my country is drowning now, i cant find where the coastline node are broken, i’ve look http://opengeofiction.net/util/coastline_info.html, but nothing wrong with andalaz island coastline… is there anyone willing to help me to find what is wrong with my country’s coastline?… thx

If there are inexplicable coastline problem, it’s usually because there’s still something wrong with my new coastline update mechanism. Informing me about it is the right thing to do in these cases. Please don’t revert anything!

Well, this problem now looks somewhat tougher than it first appeared to be. Please don’t mind if I do a few experiments that might temporarily damage the island. Be assured that I’ll restore everything once the problem is solved.

Thx thilo, now my islands has not flooded anymore… ill try not to edit the coastline until the problem is solved

Hi, Okiazr! I know it is not a solution, even is not your case, but, as example, I avoid make edis in coastline. I prefer create “natural=water” and edit these areas to create more detailed litoral in my countries and areas. Yes, this way I lose some land areas, but I rarely got problems with floods… Could be a suggestion! Regards! Bruno Moreira

The island is now completely restored. The cause of the problem was a duplicated coastline segment (western coast of Bhalijge Pref.). Then there was a bug in the program which generates coastline_info.html, which caused the erroneous way not to show up.
