Cannot edit sometimes

I’ve been editing since October using Windows 8 and Chrome, but I’ve noticed a big problem; sometimes, I can’t edit. I can move junction points around, but I can’t select lines to get the editor menu. Does anyone know a way to fix this? I should also note that this happens at the same time when I go onto OpenStreetMap (and when it stops, it stops there too) Thanks!

I’m also using Chrome on Windows 8, and I had this problem earlier in the year with the iD Editor but it somehow fixed itself. Maybe try closing other programs running that are eating up a ton of memory?

I remember a lot of problems using in-browser, both id and potlatch. My solution was to download and learn how to use JOSM. Best decision I made! It has been steep learning at times but I would never go back.

Me to! Best thing in my opinion is using JOSM
