Hey all, so I’ve been going back through all the User Diaries trying to find one post but it’s eluding me. I’m asking to see if anybody could help find it?
The post in question is about how large major cities are usually around 10km away from each other, and you’ll find smaller towns and villages between them, bringing up motorway connections too I think.

Think so: In former centuries without railways all goods are tranported with ships or over land with horses. This horses go at one day roundabout 30 km. In the midday they made a rest.
You can calculate from town to town 30 to 40 km and between both towns a greater village. Later this towns grow in different manner, so a middle town with more than 100 000 inhabitants may be away 60 or 100 km one from the other and greater towns 200 km. But no rule without a break of the rule ….
