I’ve been sitting on an idea I had for a few days about creating a large Metropolitan Area on the southern coast of Gobrassanya spanning from the border, through Kenrich, through a to-be-constructed Port Arrowick into Puerto Geo.
I’ve always started a little bit closer to the border with Alora, mostly residential, but I would like to know what you all think about this idea.

To be honest: I think that’s a bit too much! Gobrassanya is already quite “overcrowded” with big cities, taking into account that probably the Khaiwoon/Marapura area has the most economic attraction in this region and thus the main “metropolitan” development would be in this region. Looking at the map, I would say that Gobras City seems the most logic “second metropolitan region” in Gobrassanya/Khaiwoon. Cities like Carratta or Laguna have a quite “unlogic” position for me. Also Kenrich, to be honest, can be a big city, but making an “urbanized strip” of up to 70 or 80 km along th southern coast doesn’t seem a good idea to me.
Opengeofiction doesn’t have to be a world with thousands of lasre metropolitan areas. Also smaller towns and even rural areas are worth developing!
Of course, that’s only my opinion.

That’s kinda what I was going for joschi, and I also realised how big it would be so I was thinking just making Kenrich like a big city with quite a few districts and such, And when I was saying Metropolitan Area, I wasn’t thinking like tight density like London, Manchester and that big one in Japan, but more a few large cities with rural areas in between connecting them together kinda. But yeah that’s out the window now as I’m sticking to the Kenrich area.
And I can sure leave Calevin alone Faune :P I was just thinking maybe putting a park around it to separate it with nature?

My plan is to expand Puerto Geo a few miles east and west of where it is now. I wanted to make a smaller city similar to Charleston, SC or New Orleans and a city accustomed to flooding. Port Arrowic will most likely be downgraded to a smaller fishing/port town. Ultimately arrowic will be mostly farm communities like Valkaria and Junonia Junction and a few seaside resort/ bedroom communites for Puerto Geo. Thanks to whoever helped with the interchange in Puerto Geo a few days back.
