I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to configure JOSM in order to edit OGF with it, but I have failed to find a tutorial that works with the current version. Like, jeez, it’s kinda frustrating. I searched the entire forums for anything regarding how to get JOSM working with OGF, and couldn’t find any scrap of information. It’s also unhelpful that the wiki only provides about 1/6th of the information needed before just linking to this video. I can see why there was demand for a video tutorial, but now the only video tutorial we have doesn’t line up with the current version of JOSM. Man, I just want to edit.

Before criticizing the quality of documentation, bear in mind many people seem to have successfully installled and used JOSM without needing to complain about the quality of the documentation. It might be worthwhile to consider where the problem lies.

Yeah, I just realized I was bein stupid because I kept hitting WMS instead of TMS every time I tried to retrace my steps. The crisis has been averted, lol

Well, Luciano, I have no idea how to do JOSM either. I tried, but there is NO INFO ON THE FAQ on what it is and how to set it up to use it. It lets you learn most of it yourself, but some people like me and AngryGroceries cannot figure it out without any information.
But, I’m sure there are tips SOMEWHERE. If someone could link the proper FAQ page, please be kind as to do it for us. Thank you!!! :D

With due respect; if I can do it (using Windows7 on a 6 year -old desktop) everyone can do it. I agree that it is less straightforward than ‘download-and-start’ due to the change of settings (otherwise you might end up at OSM…) but the number of things to be changed is less dan a dozen. What did (and still does) annoy me is the constant urge to install a new version. For OSM I can fully understand, for OGF I do not think it is that necessary, but still…
Honesty page: even now, the far majority of my changes are made with P2, as I find it easier to use. But for (literally) large-scale projects (say, highways, large chunks of woodland etc.) JOSM is extremely easy.
