OpenGeofiction
Is “Ingerish” supposed to be the same thing as English in the OpenGeoFiction World? I noticed on the wiki that a lot of countries use it as a regional language, and that on some language pages, when describing words in their own language they “translate” it into “Ingerish” instead of English, even though it really translates into English. I also noticed the actual country of Ingerland on the map, even though it hasn’t been mentioned on the wiki yet. Is “Ingerish” supposed to be the national language of this country, or is it supposed to be a humourous way of allowing English to be used as a language? (As it would be silly to add England as a country in OpenGeoFiction.) Or does this all just have to do with one’s own creativity?

I think the idea of “ingerish” as the “Opengeofiction english” (and also Ingerland as the origin of the english-speaking population) emerged on this discussion page:

Ok, this helps a lot. I understand that the wiki is fairly new, so we don’t have too big of a consensus on connecting histories of each country, but it’s a good start!
