May is close, and the biggest european tv show is on a countdown. I’ve already seen in OGF something called geovision, inspired by eurovision, but in an international way ( and it seems its forgoten). I believe this should be related to Western Uletha, as it seems is the OGF’s Europe. But I want to go in a real interesting competition. What if a real world country competing in Eurovision is assigned to a western ulethan country? Create a singer or band, and a song, but link its destiny to a real country. What you think about this ulethans? Should we choose a country or do it ramdomly in a raffle? It has sense to relate it to the vinnic comunity, and it requires creating a ulethan tv broadcast union. For this first broadcast we should find a host. (It can be given to the country related to Ukraine (this years host). Ulevision? Ulethavision?

I’m not from Uletha, but a side note, sometimes countries from other continents participate, so you can include some East Ulethan countries.

Geovision is indeed a constest inpired on Eurovision. However I think it is not limited to a sinlge continent. Last years edition has been hosted by Elhádhon, an Archantan country, for example (see wiki)… However, I like your idea about the process of choosing the winner. It would be an interesting way to deal with the decision. But I also agree on the method of choosing the winner by the level of detail on the information posted on the wiki.
I think the choice on the winner selection process could be made by the host country. A decision like the ones Eurovision made in the past about the votes and points systems.
But if everyone decides to join the ‘Euro-Geo Process’, then I would chose Portugal as my “bet” (just because it is my home country… Portugal never won Eurovision, so I guess Yuris will not win this year… eheh ;P)

As Yuri said, the competition was proposed by Elhádhon, unfortunately, the user of this country has been absent for months. I’ve been thinking of assuming the project since the user seems to have given up OGF, but I want to wait some time to make sure he/she is not returning.
At the same time, the fact that Eurovision is a European competition shouldn’t mean that it is supposed to be a competition only for countries in Uletha. On the opposite, when Geovision was suggested most countries that decided to join were NOT from Uletha. So if the project shall be resurrected, it should respect that.
Of course, if you want to create a project for you continent only, with a different name, it’s totally up to you. I just don’t see a reason why, since it’s clearly a project that is interesting for the whole world.

I agree with Yuri’s comment that the most detailed wiki entry should win (no winner was declared for 2016 tho, anyone care to do the honors?) And @Deltanz I think you should feel free to take over at this point… you could send a message to Elhádon and ask if you feel you need to!

I don’t think western Uletha is equivalent to Europe. There are both European-styled and Asian-styled countries on both sides.
