It’s been a while!

My work took a lot of time from me, and Welstand-Westrijk was kind of abandoned.

But our friend Covid came! And Spain is going through a hard lockdown.

One of the news during this time was that Olympic Games in Tokyo were cancelled, and I remembered that Kirchenburg were at the gates of hosting the Geolympiad 2020. So I came back to mapping.

I’m back to the mapping in Kirchenburg, and the time gave me some perspective on what I like and what i hate. Wanted to reshape the Olympic venues, but as far as I know, the Geolympiac was never officially goven to Kirchenburg, and it look quite well.

I’m reshaping the city. Worked on Grauberg area, in close town Gëlteen, and in a theme park.

I’ve seen really interesting new mapping around OGF. Nice to see everything keeps alive.

Bloregia, Inara, Pretany, Shilesia, Utterland and Welstand-Westrijk have already started the first steps of the formation of a Northwestern Uletha Union. This is more than just a paper empire feeding. More than just a fictional agreement. This pretends to be a real agreement between users, reflected on the fictional ground of OGF, in order to share experience and work together for the development of the area. At this point, we are discussing a constitution draft. Make me know if anyone of the next countries are interested to join:

Garlis, Kalm, Ventria, Isztianorszag, Grossherzogtum Ertelden, Ionadalba, Wesmandy, Cernou, Tircambry, Nordurland, Rutstinaskunta Ylevälfivet, Vinnmark, Koban, Galicja, Lanyenja, Svedonia, Pohjolsmaa nad Vandern.

We share more than just NorthWest Uletha. We are the closer thing to Europe here in OGF.

Yesterday, a discussion about verisimilitude started in users diaries, and we all saw that some things have to change. The union makes the force, and it can be the solution to many of our problems.

Lets create an union in our area in order to coordinate our politics, history, economy and international affairs.

Lets create a Parliament on Facebook, where we can discuss and vote for any of the decisions that could have be made.

Write a common history, coordinated and rich. Help between us. There are experts of so many different areas, such as history, mapping, transport, design, languages, etc. We can help each other and make not only our country but also the rest of our community countries great too.

If we have new users, and the new users politics discussed are finally acepted, we can discuss in our parlament where to let them map in order to control them and teach them without any risk of destruction or flooding. There are many blank countries in the area, or maybe we can just let a part of our countries for that in a rotative way between countries.

If we vote as a group, we can give the admin team the decisions or opinions we make or have and we will be listen in a quicker and better way. A vote for each country, not for each user. An unique democratic answer.

Lets work on the construction of this community and lets make us big and united.

After a period improving Kirchenburg map, I go back to design staff. I started with the medals design, but i wanna design all the things related to the Geolympiad.

Right now I’m working with the podium and medals ceremony items and costumes. Working on the mascot, and the sports pictograms, and planning the design for tickets, torch, maps of the geolympiad city, etc.

Whenever i get tired, i go back to mapping haha.

The medals are inspired by the logo. Both of them take the image of the red shell, a national symbol of Welstand-Westrijk, so related to its medieval history and in some ways, with the Vinnic league. I saw some of you asked for sponsorship in the geolympiad. Its great to see that you want to be part of this too, but I’ll wait for the official election of Kirchenburg for that kind of things.

Kirchenburg 2020 Geolympiad Bid

Hi everyone!

I keep going on with my Welstand-Westrijk rebuilt. Everybody is responding so well to my changes even if I’m focusing on the capital Kirchenburg right now, so THANKS SO MUCH everybody.

The Kirchenburg 2020 Geolympiad bid is starting working. I know Kirchenburg is still not finished, but i like it to be so detailed, or at last half detailed for the begining.

As i told sometimes before, one of the things i love the most of OGF is the opportunity to design stuff. And international events are like candy for me. That’s why I apply to the Geolympiad, and that’s why i was asking days ago about what hapened to Geovision Song Festival (I’d love to host an event like that) That’s why i have the only international art fair in OGF, even if no one was so interested, and that’s why i have the main haute couture company (I’d love to prepare a Fashion Week too) So, if any of you are interested in create something like this, or have any opinion about it…just tell me.

While creating the new Kirchenburg and deleting the old one, I’ve lost a lot of embassies placed in the city. At this moment there are only a few from neighbour countries (Vinnmark, Shilesia and Koban). So I’m interested in knowing who is interested in having an embassy at Kirchenburg.

Since the area changed by the Hetzer Firth, Welstand-Westrijk started to being part of the Vinnic Economic Comunity. Has anyone talked about the idea of build the official buildings in the same city? Or would be possible to give each city an official building? If so, Kirchenburg would be a perfect place for it :P haha

I remind to all the monarchies around, Welstand-Westrijk is a monarchy too. Welstand-Westrijk history is just a sketch by now, but i’d love to write some common history between other countries and Welsrijk.

Taking the chance, now that im talking about a lot of stuff, want to say that I’m in love with Myrcia hahah.

May is close, and the biggest european tv show is on a countdown. I’ve already seen in OGF something called geovision, inspired by eurovision, but in an international way ( and it seems its forgoten). I believe this should be related to Western Uletha, as it seems is the OGF’s Europe. But I want to go in a real interesting competition. What if a real world country competing in Eurovision is assigned to a western ulethan country? Create a singer or band, and a song, but link its destiny to a real country. What you think about this ulethans? Should we choose a country or do it ramdomly in a raffle? It has sense to relate it to the vinnic comunity, and it requires creating a ulethan tv broadcast union. For this first broadcast we should find a host. (It can be given to the country related to Ukraine (this years host). Ulevision? Ulethavision?

After the gulf change on the vinnic sea, i decided i have lots of things to change in Welstand-Westrijk. So i gave a chance to JOSM. Just perfet. I deleted and the created the new forest/mountains in the map, and i’ve started changing the coastline. Make Welsrijk great again! haha

Months ago there was an adminero diary entry (http://opengeofiction.net/user/adminero_us/diary) with the idea of make a gulf on southeastern vinn sea. I really like the idea, and everybody seem to be agree with it, but thats all…How can this become reality? We have to be agree in a proposal? Or just start working on it? This is my proposal

The Vinnmark coast as he said, in the style of Sweden, and Welstand-Westrijk kinda Denmark style…Shilesia has acces to both sides too. What u think? I’ve made Laika lake smaller as I was reading everybody thought it was too big,.

I’ve created Art Kanal page on the wiki. I was looking for international art fair in OGF and nothing appears. So here it is! I want Kirchenburg to be a culture and art meetpoint in Western Uletha.

Each year, it takes place in Kirchenburg, with art galleries of all around the world. The thing is…Anyone has an art gallery interested in having an stand or national pabillion in Art Kanal?

I was working in Kirchenburg’s city branding. I think what i love the most about OGF is the oportunity to design for so many different fictional brands and business. I really enjoy it, more than mapping i think haha. I’m thinking about placing a design studio in Kirchenburg which is the one that makes all the design stuff in Welstand-Westrijk. Thinking about calling it Plotter studio. Is not said in Kirchenburg’s wiki page, but the otter is the symbol of the city. It’s on the coat of arms of the city, and the citizens are commonly known as otters. So Plotter studio can be a great name. They’ve made the Brutto supermarket logo too haha.

Weeks ago I launched the Kirchenburg Summer Geolympiad 1992 bid. Balonis city one was quite poor, and Kirchenburg is growing step by step so i thought a geolympiad could be a nice part of the city history. What u think about the bid?
