We share more than just NorthWest Uletha. We are the closer thing to Europe here in OGF.
Yesterday, a discussion about verisimilitude started in users diaries, and we all saw that some things have to change. The union makes the force, and it can be the solution to many of our problems.
Lets create an union in our area in order to coordinate our politics, history, economy and international affairs.
Lets create a Parliament on Facebook, where we can discuss and vote for any of the decisions that could have be made.
Write a common history, coordinated and rich. Help between us. There are experts of so many different areas, such as history, mapping, transport, design, languages, etc. We can help each other and make not only our country but also the rest of our community countries great too.
If we have new users, and the new users politics discussed are finally acepted, we can discuss in our parlament where to let them map in order to control them and teach them without any risk of destruction or flooding. There are many blank countries in the area, or maybe we can just let a part of our countries for that in a rotative way between countries.
If we vote as a group, we can give the admin team the decisions or opinions we make or have and we will be listen in a quicker and better way. A vote for each country, not for each user. An unique democratic answer.
Lets work on the construction of this community and lets make us big and united.

I don’t think that we need an enormous EU-like organisation to coordinate our politics - like in the real Europe all the nations are different culturally and therefore there shouldn’t be an unified bloc of countries governing the nations. What I’d do is smaller organisations of purely economical purpose (more like the V4), helping with free trade et cetera in densely populated regions with the really small states (like the Firth of Hetzer area). But not politics. And if we really have to then the laws of the organisations shouldn’t be above laws of the countries and merely a suggestion for the ruling coalitions.

Obviously, this is not a thing of ALL or NOBODY. You are free to join or not. But this is not about a fictional relation between countries. This is about a real conection between us in order to keep with your ownership state goverment, but participate, help and be helped by the others

Just to add something: of course that doesn’t mean that I want collaboration. Ulethan countries should collaborate and there is no other option to make the area high quality.

Oh, if you mean just a collaboration ground for us, then we misunderstood ourselves. And then it would be fully justified to put “something” on the map, as long as it isn’t the OGF-EU.

As a newcomer, I would be happy to join NWUU with Bloregia.
I noticed that a somewhat EU-like organisation already exists on the fictional level: Vinnic Economic Community (VEC).
If NWUU is to remain merely a backround community for users, this should be emphasized to avoid misunderstandings. If, on the other hand, NWUU also exists in the fictional world, its relation to VEC should be discussed. In any case, the history already developped on VEC discussion page should obviously be paid attention to:

Of course, this is a thing to be related to. The economic aspect of it. It will be both fictional (in the way that it will have real buildings and influence on OPF) but real in the way of connect between the members, and help each other in many ways

Slavonia, Ingerland, Schwaldia, Scandmark and Florescentia are already united in EU-like community. As for NWUU we are ready to enroll in any decent list, but afraid I will have no time to take an active part in discussions.

I would be fine for Pretany to be in a NWUU. I love joining organizations. I feel that these organizations a lot of times don’t get anywhere, but it is fun to have the title. Pretany is already host to the AN. Might as well.

I’m particulary fascinated by the Idea of using each users different expertise for developping the history of the area. Take me for example, I don’t know so much about economy or technology, but I know a great deal about languages, religion, music and arts. So I could contribute to creating a credible mixture of mythologies and philosophies which have shaped the NW-Ulethan cultures to their present form. That is, if I can take the time for such an ambitious project.
