Months ago there was an adminero diary entry (http://opengeofiction.net/user/adminero_us/diary) with the idea of make a gulf on southeastern vinn sea. I really like the idea, and everybody seem to be agree with it, but thats all…How can this become reality? We have to be agree in a proposal? Or just start working on it?
This is my proposal
The Vinnmark coast as he said, in the style of Sweden, and Welstand-Westrijk kinda Denmark style…Shilesia has acces to both sides too. What u think? I’ve made Laika lake smaller as I was reading everybody thought it was too big,.

I think its a good idea, however you should contact the owners of the territories that will be edited first.

I’m happy with this too, but I should think we need the go-ahead from everyone affected before doing anything. Is adminero still active? He hasn’t mapped anything in six months.

I’m not sure about extending Shilesia, I’d rather not change this part of the border and stick to the current one. Vinmark could keep the land.

But of course I agree with the idea of extending the gulf to include Welstand-Westrijk and Shilesia. Just keep your hands of my border :D .

Its true, vinnmark is innactive for 6 months…dont know what happened to adminero with the mapping, but he was active in diaries, he opened this discussion in november so…

It looks an excellent idea to me, as I have been wondering about all that water flowing into Lake Hetzer, but having no apparent outflow… Even in the few days I’ve been mapping on OGF, I’ve already had to reach for my ark with one continental flood.

Adminero_us has given the go-ahead in a private message to me (he is inactive at the moment), so I think we’re just waiting for Joschi81. I assume the admins will have no objection to giving UL179 a bit more coastline?
Any ideas what to call this new expanded gulf? I had thought about “Caeltig Gulf” when it was bounded mainly by Tircambry, Ionadàlba and Wesmandy, but that wouldn’t be appropriate now.

It seems that the new vinnic countries are influenced by central europe, austria, poland, etc, but with the new shape of the nordic/escandinavic countries. Adminero told he wanted berles to became a mix between stockholm and helsinki, welstand westrijk, more than ever, is turning to a denmark-landscape type, goodbye to big mountains and big rivers, i have to readjust the map to what it will be now. the question is… Now the gulf will be so into land to the actual hetzer lake…maybe there should be a river there? in the new country Utterland? maybe the hetzer river? But about the gulf….not shure what the name should be….any historic episode in the area? Any big city? Any old name country in the area?

OK … Kobáň is not an available territory, it belongs to Severak (the OGF:Territories list has just been corrected), so his agreement will be required as well.

Utterland is a (my) Dutch language territory. I connected with Kobáň through a railway branchline from my border village, Sterkerheide, which Severak agreed to put in, to his town of Peklo. I’m going to work on a major city on the southern end of Hetzer Lake, with an equally major river flowing into it, rising in the hills on the eastern borders of Utterland. I’ll hold off on naming the river for the time being.

Let me say that the admin team might object if the shape of the a continent is changed too much, or if there are other serious problems. The proposal in the image above will definitely be rejected because it contains several instances of blatant copies from real-world geography. Sorry if this causes some inconvenience, but if everyone with a landlocked country decides to create sea access in this way, we’ll have a problem.
Be prepared that the admin team will review any final proposal, and decide on it after some discussion. Speaking strictly for myself, the draft offered by joschi81 in the previous thread (http://opengeofiction.net/user/adminero_us/diary/925#comment5551) would be something that I can agree to.

I know it will rejected because of that…I’m nobody to design the new vinnic gulf so i took north coast of denmark for north welsrijk and the stockholm area to vinnmarks coast. I’m not pretending to make this come true in the fact that each country design its coastline. I did it with photoshop with some cut paste real maps for make a sketch of how it can look. sorry if i dont have much time to be creative. I dont care about the shape of coastlines, but i’m interested in making the right arm longer to make lake hetzer part of it. Its a mess if koban,utterland, shilesia and welsrijk miss the lake like joschi’s proposal look like. So I’m not agree with that part. If the new vinnic gulf never take place i dont cae as long as i have the hetzer lake. This is not about getting some access to the sea, is about not missing the one we have. I dont work with josm, so is impossible to me, even if i wanted, get the shape of denmark north coast.
