I’d like opinions of my City Malaperis. I’m pretty much using iD and Potlatch at this point, as the PC I use, due to administrative issues, won’t let me install anything, let alone JOSM
Again, an issue I run into is the grid system city, as I live in the second flattest state in the US, and that’s pretty much everything out here, but I am trying to shake things up a bit.
As with everything, work in progress
I was getting a little overwhelmed seeing some of the featured maps in the wiki, but I understand that it takes time to get there.

One other thing, in the Rock Falls area, there’s supposed to be a waterfall. How can I indicate this on the map? I did create a point, but it doesn’t show up on the view

I don’t think waterfalls are rendered on the Standard layer.
Malaperis looks good for a city made entirely in iD/Potlatch (which are a pain to use, if you excuse me.) I just think it needs a little diversity and detail. As a first step I would recommend adding some more amenities and shops, as listed in here.

I have JOSM installed at home, just don’t have a ton of downtime, and when I do use it, I tendto get frustrated.
I plan on designing a small village with only JOSM at some point in the near future as a learning experience

I like your grid system a lot and I don’t think there’s something wrong with flat countries! Just one thing, it looks like your university is displayed as a commercial area, with light red color, instead of the light yellow that’s the color of colleges and universities!

I found looking at other cities helps me with figuring out what to tag something, and that list above is very helpful towards that end as well.
What confused me was that in iD, not all the tags are in the drop down. Most you have to typein.
