What does the peopling of the OGF World look like? where were the earliest Human settlements? When was Uletha populated with Humans? Archanta? e.c.t

edit. I presume that Archanta is similar to the Americas and was settled much later, it was just an example, i was wanting background of all the continents to figure out the broader picture of how the ogf world was settled.

Good question. This really might shape the history of various nations in the world.
For convenice sake, lets assume humans originated in Uletha, though Tarephia is quite possible. I thought of humans originating maybe somewhere quite comfortable and not freezing all year; Gobrassanya seems to be a likely choice, or Midistland. Generally humans travel on land first before they figured out ships exploration, so it may move upwards and settle elsewhere. Archanta may be settled by some people from the Axian peninsula to Commonia, or by adventurors sailors from Gobrassanya, Goytakana and Khaiwoon.

If we look to real-world corollaries, humans would have started out somewhere in southwest Uletha / northeast Tarephia—the area surrounding the northern Sea of Uthyra. There are a number of us mapping in that area that have cultures dating back to antiquity, but there’s not technically an “official” consensus on where OGF humans started. (But there’s no “official” consensus on anything of importance, really, so for my money it’s the safest bet at this point).

One important thing to have into consideration when talking on early modern human migrations is the extent of some continental platforms. For example, humans were able to move into America through the Bering Strait from Asia because it is a shallow strait, and in ice ages its seabed would get exposed due to the lower sea levels in the area. Supposing an original human settlement in SW Uletha or N Tarephia, access to Uletha, Tarephia and Antarephia would have been pretty straightforward. Travel to Archanta would have been more difficult, but if any of the seas that separate Archanta from Uletha is part of a common continental shelf it could easily been exposed in an ice age and formed a bridge for humans to pass through to Archanta. Access to the “New World” (Ereva, Orano, Karthumia, Pelanesia) looks more challenging due to its remoteness in respect to the other continents. We cannot rule out that big landmasses would have remained unexplored until the Colonial age, or maybe earlier in history. First human settlers in New Zealand (the Maori) only arrived there in the 13th century.
