Hi everyone
I’m Jumbooo, and I’ve started mapping some 5 days ago. I’ve started a city with a population of about 120.000. It’s called Dominton, and it’s on the west coast of country Margarath, Midistland. I’d like to receive a feedback from more experienced users. Of course my work is far from being finished, but I’d like to know how you think it’s going.

Fine proportions, good measurements. You are indeed not falling into a lot of beginners’ traps. One warning, though: you are using real-world names for banks and coffee shops (maybe even more). Better not do that.

Thank you for your feedback Marcello! I’m happy to read that I’m doing well with proportions and measurement, that’s an important part of mapping indeed! I was in two minds wether to use or not real-world names. I decided to use them, but I guess that in a fictional world we should use fictional names. I’ll change them next time I’ll work on the map. Thank you again

That’s looks like a really good city indeed. I hope you’ll stay here :)
Btw, if you want to use multinational companies (like McDonald’s and Starbucks in real life) you could also use one of our in-world big companies. For example: Starburgers is ‘our McDonald’s’, CoffeeBreaks could be used as a Starbucks and you could use Pizza Varela for a Pizza Hut. For more see the International Business Listing.
