Hi,
I’m a 13 year old mapper from the United Kingdom and I contribute a lot to OSM and try to on OGF too! :)
I know that asking for feedback here seems to be discouraged, but I’ve been working on a small island nation for the past few months, Las Islas Serenas, and I’d like some feedback on how my main island looks and the city of Velasco. Please tell me some things I could improve on and things features I could add!
Also, in case people are wondering why the country boundary is very big for the size of the nation, it is because I’ve just deleted a bunch of islands and I’m planning to add and work on some more.
My islands are Castellanese (Spanish to the real world) speaking, but I’m only fluent in English so I may have made some mistakes. If you spot any, let me know!

First Positives- Great detail, what an amazing little island. I have never seen someone do so well on their very first project, it is better than anything I have ever done in my entire OGF “career”. Now some questions, I think personally with an international airport you will at least have to double or even triple your tourism numbers. I think numbers similar to Seychelles or even higher if your nation is developed will help. Personally, I think you should start looking for a larger second territory as again the mapping on your island blows me away. It is high quality mapping to the max. I know while it is normally discouraged, I would work more on your wiki as there is only so much a map can tell. Like even with the map I assume your nation is developed but I really don’t know.

I would use info from Seychelles to help improve your country due to very similar size, population and even location for tourists. I would personally love if you could include tourists from my nation of Hoppon, as they love to travel and are currently have many Cruise ship companies that would love to set up shop in LIS (Acronym for your country).
One thing about deleting those islands, completely deleting them is usually discouraged. Also I couldn’t really find any hotels on the map of Islas. Are the villages sorta of like Hotels themselves?

Beautiful work, very realistic. My only comment is I wonder why there are two platforms at your train systems for what looks like a small, one track light rail/tram line. Two platforms seem like a waste of resources if there is only one track.
This island is definitely a place I would want to visit if I lived in the OGF world! Love the realism, keep up the great work.

Hi Portopolis,
Thank you very much for your kind comments! I would love to include tourists from Hoppon, and I’ll certainly look into the Seychelles tourism info to help improve.
I’m also aware that there are hardly any hotels on the map - I will add some more of these and I’ll be making island resorts part of my country, too.
I’ll start looking for a larger second territory soon, but only once I’m fully content with LIS :)
Thank you, once again!
Kyle

Hi Thunderbird,
Thanks for your comments!
Looking back at the light rail track I do realise that two platforms is unnecessary - nevertheless, I’m pleased that you like the island!

This is fantastic! If I randomly saw it, I would never think that this is someone’s first project. One thing to change are the roads across the centre of the mountain. From what I can tell, this seems like a mountainous island. This means roads going across the center would have to go up steep hillsides. This means they need hairpins or curves along their route.

Hi Mr Oobling,
Thanks a lot for your feedback! I’ll be fixing the roads shortly!

Hey, waht a spetacular and detailed country! As MrOobling said, I also would never say it is a work of a new user!
The only thing I say to you: The ferry routes doest not need so much curves…

Wow, this mapping is amazing! Great work.
I agree with Bruno that the ferry routes should be better without curves, but beside that I have no comments :)

Wonderful work! Feel free to share the culture of Islas Serenas with Castilea Archantea!
