Auto-Calculating Inter-City Travel Passenger Numbers - A new attempt

I’ve spent some time the last couple of days on a rather intensive project, where I once again took on the task to crunch some numbers regarding inter-city train travel in Kojo. I’ve now officially opened my first Bliki to showcase the results, and would love to hear your thoughts as well as your advise on my follow-up question.

If calculanting doesn’t take time away from your mapping, you can do as much as you want! About the results, i think is very interesting what you are doing (and very complicated to me), and you could use that even for planning the cities with utilities, in the case of the region around the stations. Also i think you are very dedicated to this if you go out of your way to make these calculi!

Actually I think this is quite a helpful thing to do for mapping even if this isn’t apparent at first. Once you have the data it helps decide station size, number of tracks on a line, station facilities, size of depots and in turn the size and prosperity of settlements along the railway lines. I also think getting an estimate of the country’s population by region in the process is EXTREMELY valuable.
