Is saving edits not working for anyone else?
Posted by Pancake Killer on 23 November 2019 in English.Hi, I tried to publish a pretty big edit in my FS state and I click save and the only thing it shows is changeset comments, so saving option or anything. Is this going on elsewhere?

My edits seem to be working fine. Reload the page, or delete the tab and then command+shift+t it, or restart your computer.

I’m going to assume iD, since that sounds like the iD user interface.
I’ve heard of this problem before. If I were you, I’d try backing out of your browser and coming back in (pretty sure iD saves your work, it’s been a while since I’ve used it), and then re-uploading. When you come back in, make sure you select “Continue Editing”. This could possibly fix the issue.
For the second part of the question, I personally have no idea. It’s happened in the past, but I’m pretty sure it’s a client-side issue rather than a server-side one.
Another thing you could do is switch to JOSM or Merkaator. This obviously won’t fix the issue, but with JOSM and Merkaator, you can save the files directly to your computer, wait for an issue to be resolved if it’s server-side, and then upload.

When I had this problem, I had to exit out and restart. :(
