I like super-detailed things so I use iD. In the island (the link is down) I want to make two little towns + 3 very little ones (50-100 inhabitants) is it too much for such a little island?

Maybe one village is enough, plus a small harbour will be good for such a fishing village. Finish off with a mangrove reserve or smth natural.
This idea is rather based off Pulau Ubin, an island off the coast of Singapore, my country.

I actually think a village or two would be nice, but maybe make it a tourist spot?

One village seems enough, but you can add some Resorts and Hotels that add to the village
