That is probably because the admins want to improve the quality of the site by preventing people like you from editing on mobile. You will never accomplish anything on mobile. Its true, use JOSM.

Just don’t edit on mobile. You’ll do far more work on any platform if you use a computer.

I’ll put my farthing’s worth in by saying that JOSM can be daunting for the beginner. It’s taken me some time to gravitate from Potlatch.

I’ve been here since late 2015 and still think josm sucks if even the slighest error occures. I refuse to use that unless some of you fellas cover the bills if I get a Stress-caused cardiac arrest hehe. That being said its correct that ogf is a Computer only site as you can only then map orderly. Keep Calm and Map on. -kf

I’d agree that unless you have a Chromebook, Microsoft Surface or something like an RCA Viking Pro 10 (like I have) that actually has full mouse support and can work kind of like a laptop, it’s honestly better to just avoid trying to map on mobile as a whole. I tried to map using an iPad when I first joined. HORRIFYING RESULTS XD lol
But to try to be a voice of comfort among some of the harsh comments, I do think Nation’s Mines is a pretty nice town so far and a good start. Definitely better than my early mapping. I look forward to seeing your work as you continue to grow and improve.
(small note on Nation’s Mines: I think your medical center is showing up as an area instead of a building. I’d recommend tagging what’s there now as building=yes and then drawing an area around it for a hospital. That way it shows the area that is the hospital grounds, and the building that is the actual building of the medical center.)

But the light color isn’t meant to represent the building, it’s meant to represent the grounds/area that surrounds the building. So it should end up looking like this

So what you have there now should be the building. The hospital area should be drawn around that.
