The map has a new rendering. In general, it appears as though every road has moved up a level in color. My city is composed of mostly tertiary roads, and it looks ugly with this rendering. Is there a setting to change how it looks?

Now it’s gone. That’s weird, highways were blue for about an hour, now it is back to normal.

There are multiple ways you can render the map, in the left part of the tab when your in View mode there is a button with a few stacked squares, that changes the rendering sytle, you probably want to use Histor Layer.

I didn’t know that, I just recently started mapping, thank you!

Maybe I would change the tagging of most of your tertiary highways to unclassified or residential?

Oxalia, are you saying I should do this because it should be more realistic? It makes sense that the roads in the inner city are all tertiary, doesn’t it? Once I map the suburbs there will be far more residential streets.

You should do it because realistically they wouldn’t be tertiary, they’d be residential/unclassified. Even in the inner city there’s still a hierarchy, even more so.
Useful way of thinking of it is to make it tertiary if it would likely have a bus service running along it.
