Hello everyone,
I’ve been working on a new toll road north of my capital city. It is a turnpike style road, with limited access and toll booths at each end as well as at each exit ramp. I mapped the southern toll plaza here:

It has 6 booths in each direction as well as service ramps for the workers. That was my first attempt at it. Could people give me some feedback as to what I did wrong or if this needs to be improved?
Thanks!

Yeah, like FBG pointed out, different types of tollways have different designs. We just got a tollway in Raleigh that operates exactly like a regular interstate (there isn’t a single toll booth) except cameras take pictures of your license and sensors sense whether you have a pass. What you drew honestly looks great to me though.

Well I figured of the 6 lanes, 2 of them will be E-Z Pass and the other 4 are regular, with no such express lanes. I guess this is pretty good. Thank you for the ideas, though!

May suggest keeping at least one motorway lane as “normal” and not link road and the others as service roads? And access to service roads from normal street grid?
I have tried it in Ataraxia a few times here:
