German Quarter in Gautig

Posted by Volcanizion on 12 November 2019 in English.

So I was looking at Wiesbaden Village and it has buildings and roads in German (or at least based on the language). I think it is good to make this area a sort of the old town of the city. Since Gobrassanya was supposedly colonized by Europe-like countries, it wouldn’t be surprising if Gautig (and the surrounding areas) was colonized by Bloregia, Eäßnordælånd or Eshein. It would be really nice to see the entire area be based off a German city. I wanted to use Qingdao as a basis but there’s not a lot of German influence there, so I think basing it on Munich would be a good idea.

In terms of Port Cameron...

So I just came back from a school trip to Bosnia and Croatia in which we went to Split. I noticed that Port Cameron is similar to Split with the general outline of the city.

Perhaps the historic old town can be designed to be like Diocletian’s palace? I’m currently designing the old town area to have a Roman-like area, a Middle ages area, a 19th century area and of course a few more modern bits here and there.

I think the idea of a broadwalk in the downtown area would fit well, what do you guys think?

Proposal: Mississauga-Bayview Bridge

Looking at Gobras City, it sort of resembles Tokyo with how it shadows over cities like Ominoso and Margenson. And in Tokyo, there’s a highway way out in Tokyo Bay called the Aqua Line connecting the two sides of the Bay.

So I’m planning to construct a sort-of highway connecting the bay together. Realistically, it would cutdown on travel time between Havreg and Eastern Gobrassanya as it would have to pass through Gobras City (which I would assume has crazy traffic).

This can consist of two bridges with a tunnel in between.
